Falcons running back Steven Jackson joined 790 The Zone‘s Mayhem in the AM on Tuesday morning to share with Steak Shapiro, Chris Dimino and Nick Cellini his goals and hopes for the 2013 season and beyond in Atlanta.
His first time speaking to the Atlanta media since his introductory press conference last month, Jackson sounded confident in his ability to make a difference in the Falcons’ run game, so much so that he hopes it will make him and the Falcons champions one day.
“You will not get anyone on the market — in the draft or free agency — that’s more hungry than I am and that has more to prove than I do,” Jackson told 790 The Zone. “I want to go out on top.
“Let’s be frank: I didn’t come here to make it to the playoffs. You guys have done that consecutively over the years. I’m here to help be a part of the puzzle, be a part of something that you guys have built over the years. I’m just a hope and a dream, but we frankly have the same hope and dream.”
